Hm...time for a bit of random thought...the United States has a mixed economic system. A market-system and the government play a part in deciding how our scarce resources are used. In this case, the government is deciding how it will spend the money collected through taxes to best suit the nation. It is up to debate whether or not this is actually done. There are many ways for the government to divide its limited supply of money. Political reasons as well as good intentions for the nation go into how these types of decisions are made. At this point in time, security is probably highest on the agenda of most Americans. So, doubling the amount spent on homeland security is going to boost the confidence of America --;; Confidence is usually good for the economy. If Americans feel safe, they are probably going to spend and consume more XD America is currently in recession, so this would be seen as a good thing. There is still an opportunity cost. If one area of the budget is getting twice the funds, it means other areas are lacking. Or taxes would have to be raised to fill the gap. What else could be done to improve security in America? Possibly reanalyzing the role we play in the world and spending more money to help countries truly achieve freedom without basing who we back on how much oil they have ¬_¬

I'm getting someone I know to ask when and where the Otaku/Anime Club on this campus meets *_* Aside from that, today I didn't have my Music History class because it was cancelled for the day, woo! *_* But I actually liked the class --;;; Well, at least I do have it next week ^^ Tomarrow I have my first day of modeling for the studio art class. Though I would like to see him sometime to stalk...I mean see how the kid's doing XD The second dream was very...Oo;;; I think I got it from staring at some sci-fi type posters at the art sale for too long. It took place in my high school except most everyone was dead and I only remember two other students being alive, but then one got killed off by something that was SWIMMING in the school floor O_o;;; Hm, the students were killed by other....things which looked like people, but I still don't know what they were -_- I don't know why I was still alive by the time I woke up O_o;;

One is from Interview with the Vampire and Louis and Claudia are on it. Another is Edward Sissorhands, and the third is from The Outsiders (a very groovy book and movie ^^) Aside from that, I also got a random print of a fairy ^^ The art thingy is going to be around tomarrow too, so of course I'll drop by *_*

In the mean time, there were free condoms in my dorm hallway and I mentioned that fact to Steve. He asked me to mail him some O_o;;; since he likes saving money XDDDD Hm, aside from no flavor there are chocolate, mint, and grape, I wonder what other flavors there are O_o;;;; I found out there's also strawberry, cola, vanilla. Since I offered to do my first time of modeling for studio art as volunteer and not for pay the lady running the model things sent me this message XD:
